Introduction
This project was completed by Angela Klinger (Nara) and Shaobai Xiong (Tang) as a part of the Spring 2017 Digital Humanities course at the University of Pittsburgh under the guidance of Dr. Birnbaum, Kaylen Sanders, and Gabi Keane. The primary goal of the project is to compare the pattern of relationship network in Tang China and Nara Japan. Except within the relationship network, this project also contains research on special topics such as geography and social class.
